The Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT seeks to hire three tenure-track faculty members. We welcome applicants from the following areas:
- Computational Mechanics
The appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor without tenure. Under exceptional circumstances an appointment at a higher rank may be possible. Applicants must hold an earned doctorate at the time of appointment in an appropriate field and must have demonstrated an ability to carry out outstanding research and have a strong record of, or promise for, exceptional teaching.
